As I wrote before if IK had done amps and fx that people have actually asked for (instead of some tired old Fenders that no one really gives a rodent's posterior about) in the IK forums - that would be a different matter. Just like in the past, AmpliTube keeps raising the bar and we'll see alleged "AmpliTube killers" come and go.Īre you saying that IK is doing it better than UAD, S-Gear and Bias? I find that very hard to believe. There is no separation between any components, this is as close to modeling a whole amp circuit and every idiosyncrasy than anybody - not just IK - has done before. We've always done modeling down to the component level, and now we've captured every nuanced and how the circuit works as a whole. It is not just next level for us, and is different than what others are doing. , that are part of the Amps offered in the NEW fender2 pack either are, or are not just a rebadged / rehashed version of those 57 Champ & 57 Deluxe add on amps that I already own ?

What I am actually trying to find out is : I am re-amping those other real amps also, but this has become less and less the last 2 years as the sims have improved a great deal over that time, and I can't own every amp, so the sims are a great option and offer great variety. These days I find myself just mainly sticking to S-gear and Bias with the 3rd party IRs to get sounds to my desired taste., which is just my personal preference of course. I also have Amp sims - Amplitube 3 and 4 with nearly all their add ons, Guitar Rig, S-Gear, Bias Pro, and a couple of plugin Alliance amps and also various 3rd party IR's. Yes apart from 4 real studio amps ie (Guit) Vibrolux Reverb blackface, Vox AC15 HWX, (Bass) Galleon Krueger 400RB, Trace Elliot GP7. Next level from what IK has been using for their modeling but nothing that other developers haven't done before supposedly they're getting down to component level modeling.
